Roku TV setup is kind of similar to other streaming devices from Roku only with a few variations. With this tutorial, learn how to setup your Roku TV and also how to link Roku TV to your Roku account.
- Remove the TV from the box and get rid of all packing materials
- This may include tapes and foams which have to be recycled
- You can either wall mount the TV or place it on its stand
- Connect it to the power supply using the power adaptor
- Turn on the television set using the appropriate remote
- Select a language of your choice and remember that all settings will be displayed in the same language
- For example, if you have set the language to Spanish, then all settings and channel information will appear only in Spanish
- In the next step, select the country in which you are currently residing
- You will then be prompted to connect the device to the internet
- This can be a wired or a wireless connection
- If it is a wired connection, then make use of an Ethernet cable
- Else, use the Wi-Fi connection to connect the device to the internet
- Select the internet connection’s name and enter the password of the selected network
- When connected to the internet, the device will automatically download the necessary Roku software and firmware
- Restart the television once the software download process gets over
- Link the Roku tv to your Roku account using the activation code that appears on your TV
- Create a new account if you don’t already have one
- Enter and the link code using Roku.com/link
